Design 55 offers a menu of services from which you can choose. All services are personalized to meet your needs. You decide which services you need. You determine how much to spend.

How much do senior move management services cost?

Our services are cost effective. We do this every day. Our years of experience with the moving industry will save you time and money. Design 55 provides both turnkey services and a la carte services so that you can select the number of hours that best fit your budget. We will always provide a written estimate for services before payment is required.

Variables that impact cost include:
 

  • the size of the home you are moving from and how many years you have lived in your home

  • how much downsizing of excess household contents need to be accomplished

  • the size of the apartment or home you are moving to and its location in a building. Elevators and walk distances from a moving van to an apartment impact time and cost.

  • the level of family participation to provide hands-on help

  • the number of services that you request to make your move as worry-free as possible
     

What questions should I ask when deciding to contract with a senior move manager?

  • What are your professional credentials?

  • Have you participated in any formal training programs?

  • Are you fully insured for liability and workers’ compensation?

At Design 55, we frequently work side by side with family members. Design 55’s menu of services is offered from which you can choose and you pay accordingly. The ultimate goal is to ease the stress of the move process for older adults and family members, not add to your concerns.

How far in advance do I need to contact Design 55? 

Our staff is highly responsive to emergency moves. However, last minute moves require a greater pace of activity for our clients. Begin the process early to assure a worry-free move experience. You will be glad you did.

We work with you and your realtor’s list of things to do to prepare your home for sale.
